Rav Shmuel Rabinowitz, the Rav of the Kotel

Let us show deep appreciation for Rav Ezriel Einfeld and Rav Yaakov Einfeld, for their special work! It was a great privilege for me to learn about the unique activity of the organization Nachzik Chazak which they head, and which deals with a chessed that is almost a “meis mitzvah,” in providing assistance and support for orphaned and widowed families in such a unique way. There is no need to describe the great suffering endured by families who lost a loved one, lo aleinu. The heart breaks each time we hear of the loss of a father being felt – during Shabbos and Chagim, during special milestones, and the great void felt among the mother and children in the home on a daily basis. These widows are forced to take on the role of father as well as mother, to be the backbone and educator of the family – not an easy task. Therefore, I join in calling upon our brothers in Klal Yisrael to support this organization with an open heart and generous spirit, so that it can continue to maintain and increase its activities. All those who support and assist in this holy endeavor are considered partners in this great mitzvah.

With great blessings,
